  • Less control – Google may use low-quality images or ones that do not fit the brand image.

Target CPC in Demand Gen campaigns

Google introduces the Target CPC (target cost per click) strategy for Demand Gen campaigns. It is an automatic bid setting that allows you to get as many clicks as possible at a specified average cost. It works at the campaign or ad group level and is available only for campaigns with the “Clicks” goal.

Political ads in Google Ads – new labeling

Google has introduced a mandatory step when creating campaigns in the European Union – the question “Does your campaign contain political ads?”. Without answering, you cannot save the campaign. Even if the campaign is not political, you must select “No.” There is also an option to permanently disable this question if the advertiser does not plan to run political campaigns in the EU.
