For the past 10 months, we have been running off-site activities for empis.pl – a store specializing in sensory toys. By focusing on strengthening the position of the most important keywords from a business perspective, we gradually increased the brand’s visibility in search engines. Thanks to a consistent link building strategy and a good understanding of the industry’s seasonality, we achieved a +75% increase in organic traffic and a +94% growth in visibility from May 2025 to May 2024.

The main goal of the link building efforts was to strengthen the position of the most important keywords from a business perspective—those that directly influence the visibility of the offering and users’ purchasing decisions. We focused particularly on high-search-volume keywords, such as “sensory toys” (12,100 monthly searches in Poland), which is also the store’s primary product category. The objective was to achieve higher rankings in search results and reach users actively searching for these types of products.
At the same time, we aimed to systematically increase traffic from organic search results – not only by improving the position of the most important keywords but also by building visibility in the long tail of search queries. Through consistent off-site activities, our strategy focused on acquiring valuable backlinks that support the domain’s authority, ultimately resulting in a higher number of visits from Google, particularly during peak seasons for sensory products.
At the beginning, we identified the most important sales keywords, focusing on both popular general terms and more specific user queries from the so-called long tail.
We analyzed the current link profile leading to empis.pl, identifying its strengths, gaps, and potential threats. This allowed us to precisely plan which areas needed strengthening to increase domain authority and improve visibility in organic search results.
We analyzed the competition’s activities in organic search results to better understand which types of content and backlinks influence their visibility and rankings in Google.
We identified link gaps between empis.pl and its main competitors, specifically missing sources that strengthened other domains, which Empis had not yet acquired.
Although the efforts were focused on link building, we also provided the client with technical and on-site recommendations that supported our off-site activities and helped improve indexing and the overall quality of the website.
Both in terms of domain authority and thematic relevance, which we consistently implemented over the following months.
The effects of our efforts were gradual but became more and more visible month by month. By consistently strengthening key keywords for Empis – such as “sensory toys” and specific product categories – through strategically selected sponsored publications and filling in the link profile, we were able to achieve significant position increases even for very competitive queries.
Along with the growing visibility, organic traffic clearly increased—we reached a wider group of informed parents and teachers looking for valuable developmental toys. The key to success was a flexible approach to the strategy, regular analysis of results, and quick responses to changes in Google rankings, which allowed us to effectively build Empis’ position in search engines.

2. Introduction key keywords in TOP3 and TOP10
The keyword “zabawki sensoryczne” (eng: “sensory toys”) – one of the most important from a business perspective – rose from 4th to 1st position in Google organic search results. With a search volume of 12,100 monthly searches in Poland, being at the very top directly translates into increased brand visibility and a real influx of valuable traffic.
At the same time, many other important keywords related to the store’s main product categories steadily climbed upwards and ultimately made it to the Top 10. Collaboration with Empis demonstrates how much can be achieved through a thoughtful and consistently implemented link building strategy. Our goal was not only to improve the rankings of key keywords but also to have a real impact on brand visibility and its presence in the minds of the target audience – parents, teachers, and therapists looking for valuable toys that support children’s development.
Through off-site activities focused on high-quality publications, competitor analysis, and filling in link gaps, we were able to achieve clear results. After 10 months of collaboration, visibility increased by 94%, and organic traffic grew by 75% year-over-year. At the same time, the most important sales keywords – with “sensory toys” leading the way – reached the top of search results.
