Meta Keywords is a tag that appears in the HTML code of a given page – so it is not actually visible on the page. According to the official Google announcement, it doesn’t have an impact on SEO. Initially, owing to this tag, search engines were able to interpret the content of a given page much more accurately. It was used to specify keywords related to a page.
