Site Links in Carousel Format on Facebook and Instagram
Meta is introducing a new option for advertisers — links in single image or video ads can now be automatically transformed into a carousel format. This means that if you add multiple website links in the ad settings, Meta may display them as separate cards within a carousel.

How does it work?
The main image or video from the ad is displayed as the first card in the carousel.
The following cards are generated based on the links added to the ad—specifically, Meta uses thumbnails associated with those links.
Each of these links can lead to a different domain or subpage, opening up new possibilities for directing users to various sections of your website.
What does this mean for you as an advertiser?
Firstly – A greater number of visible links can lead to a higher click-through rate (CTR). Instead of a single offer, users see a whole series of cards with different calls to action.
Secondly – It’s an opportunity to better tailor your Meta Ads content to the audience. You can showcase different offers, products, or website sections within one ad, increasing the chances that users will find something that interests them.
Thirdly – This solution can improve the quality of your website traffic. With better-matched links and thumbnails, users land directly on the most relevant content, which can reduce bounce rates and increase conversions.
