Google Ads is introducing new reporting options for assets, enhanced by conversion metrics and performance rating. These features allow advertisers to identify assets that generate the most conversions, as well as evaluate their effectiveness, rated on a scale from “Best,” “Good,” “Low,” to “Learning” and “Unrated.” It’s also important to note that reporting columns can be customized by adding metrics aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of clicks or revenue.
The reporting covers all types of Performance Max assets within a single interface, enabling a comprehensive assessment of campaigns.

Google Ads is displaying notifications about the ability to add message assets to “click-to-WhatsApp” ads for selected advertisers in the beta version. The Google Ads notification states: “Get leads through click-to-WhatsApp ads”. Message assets help generate leads by enabling users to chat with your business via WhatsApp.
What does this mean for you?
This feature can be configured as part of the ad or as a button in responsive search ads within Google Ads. Once configured, users who click on the ad are directed to WhatsApp, where they can start a conversation with your business. To utilize this feature, you will need to set up the WhatsApp Business app.
