An option has appeared in the Facebook Ads panel to control ad placements in Advantage+ product campaigns. Learn how to activate it and its advantages and disadvantages!

How Will the New Function Work?

Placement settings will give the ability to exclude specific destinations where Advantage+ product ads will be displayed. Until now, there was no way to control this.

How to Activate this Option?

Facebook Ads Business Manager > Ad Account Settings > Ad Account Configuration > Account Settings > Placement Settings.

After entering the placement settings, activate the option “My business can only display ads in certain locations” manually uncheck which locations of apps and sites and statements Facebook Ads should not display ads in when it is possible.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Location Control

It’s important to note that excluding specific display destinations can reduce the ability to reach certain audiences and consequently may hurt campaign performance. On the other hand, exclusions can lead to display ads in destinations that bring more and better quality conversions.
