There has been a significant change in the reports made available in the Google Analytics 4 panel. From now on, when you select the “Advertising” icon, in the “Performance” section there will be a “Google Ads” tab, which has been dedicated to this service. With its help you can easily check the performance of individual campaigns, ad groups and more.
What does this mean for you?
Now you will find a report containing data only from Google Ads directly in the Google Analytics 4 panel, without the need to generate it manually. It will allow you to quickly check the effectiveness of selected Google Ads campaigns, making it easier to control them.
Beginning March 11 of this year, Google plans to launch automated pausing of ad groups that have not generated impressions for 13 months. The implementation of this feature is aimed at improving the budget efficiency and quality of advertisers’ campaigns – ad groups without impressions can lower it.
What does this mean for you?
Your ad groups that remain active, but don’t generate any traffic, will be automatically turned off by Google. There is, of course, an option to unpause selected groups on your own – but it is recommended that you do this only if you expect to get impressions in the coming weeks.
