Ban is a form of penalty that Google imposes on websites that do not follow the general rules described in the guidelines for webmasters. This penalty consists of removing a given domain or website from the search results.

Your website may get a ban, for example, for:

  • duplicated content,
  • cloaking, i.e. showing other content to Google crawlers than to users,
  • automatically generated content,
  • low-quality backlinks.

How to Check If Your Domain Has Been Removed?

In the search box, enter the following command: site:domain.com. If you don’t get any results for the selected command, it means that Google banned your website.
